I recently had the incredible opportunity to work with a group of five United States Naval Academy Midshipmen for a photoshoot in Annapolis, Maryland. And let me tell you, it was an experience I won’t soon forget! These young men were not only disciplined and dedicated but also incredibly fun and full of life. Their sense of humor and easy-going nature made our session together a blast.
From the moment we started, it was clear that these Midshipmen shared a special bond. The camaraderie they’ve developed during their time at the Naval Academy was palpable. You could see it in the way they joked with each other, the way they helped each other get ready, and even in the way they moved as a unit. It’s this kind of brotherhood that shapes future leaders, and I have no doubt that the lessons in teamwork and mutual respect they’ve learned will serve them and all those they lead well.
A lot of our photo shoot took place in front of the iconic Bancroft Hall, or Mother B, a backdrop that added an extra layer of significance to the photos since it has been their home for the last four years. We had a ton of fun with the shoot, especially when it came to the more candid moments. Tossing hats in the air and jumping up and down, we captured the essence of their spirited and lively nature. It was a joy to see them let loose and enjoy the moment, a reminder that behind the uniform, they’re also just young men with a lot of zest and love for life.

Working with groups always excites me, but there was something truly special about this group photoshoot of Naval Academy Midshipmen in Annapolis Maryland.
